At Homeowners Management Company, the health and safety of our customers and employees continue to be our priority amid concerns related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Effective Tuesday, March 17 at 12:01AM there is a Shelter in Place order affecting Contra Costa and other Bay Area counties through April 7, 2020. We are doing everything we can to comply with the recent Shelter in Place order and mitigate the spread of the virus while also minimizing disruptions in the services we provide to our clients.
Steps we’re taking:
HMC's office will be closed through April 7, or until further notice, in compliance with the Shelter in Place order.
Our executive team is monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with recommendations and guidelines.

HOA payments should be mailed to the payment address provided and should not be dropped off at HMC's office.
Consistent with government and CDC recommendations regarding social distancing to protect the most vulnerable in our society from the spread of the virus, HMC employees will not be attending group/board meetings during this crisis. In line with the recommendations of industry legal professionals as well as health experts, we are advising Boards of Directors to postpone face-to-face board meetings and other gatherings in favor of meeting by teleconference until further notice.
Our management team will be communicating with each of our clients Board of Directors regarding the potential need for additional janitorial services in the common areas and to discuss the idea of suspending access to all non-essential amenities such as clubhouses, meeting rooms, workout rooms, etc. on a case-by-case basis.
We will continue to utilize all available electronic communication channels to keep our clients informed of the impact on HMC's operations as well as that of their association. Homeowners living in communities using HMC Connect are encouraged to share the website/portal/app with their fellow community members who may not yet be signed up to stay connected and receive the latest announcements concerning their association's operations.
We will continue to look at ways to improve our ability to serve our clients' needs in a work-from-home environment.
